St. Marys Home for Boys is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant to provide support for the Executive Director, Assistant Director, Director of Quality Improvement and the Human Resources Manager. Responsible for maintaining files for regulatory compliance (OSHA, AHERA) and Federal, State and County licensing requirements (fire, health, sanitation, etc.). Functions as Agency's HIPPA Privacy Officer. Recording secretary for agency meetings. Must be organized, able to work independently, multi-task oriented and flexible. Must possess excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills and be comfortable with composing correspondence. Position requires fast (60 WPM) accurate typing. Must be professional, flexible and willing to accept additional responsibilities as needed. Must be proficient with MS Office. Previous responsibility for formal minutes, project work, HR and Safety Committee preferred. Experience with Photo programs and FileMaker Pro (or similar database) a plus. Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 p.m.
St. Mary's Home for Boys is accepting applications for a counselor for future openings to work with emotionally and behaviorally disturbed boys, ages 10-17. The job is part of a team of trained professionals and is for the second shift, from 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm daily. This fast-paced job requires the ability to make quick, authoritative decisions based on standards and protocols within the St. Mary's Home environment, providing consistent leadership and quality guidance to the clients. St. Mary's is not a MR/DD, CMI or D & A Facility This position requires a BA/BS degree in psychology, sociology or other behavioral science. A recent internship or experience with similar clients is preferred. Excellent benefits. $11.00/hr to start with potential increase to $12.25 after 6 months.
